A new version of the Dell Venue Pro was recently approved by the Federal Communications Commission. This new model supports AT&T’s 3G bands, rather than T-Mobile’s. The Venue Pro is Dell’s first Windows Phone 7 handset. This particular variant hasn’t been announced.

Dell Streak Review Video

The Dell Streak is the latest addition to the Android smart phone family from Dell. This one boasts an impressive 5-inch 800×480 LCD screen and lots of great features. Unfortunately for now it only comes with the Android 1.6 OS, although there are talks of a possible 2.2 update in the future.

Dell Lightning Windows 7 Phone

Dell Lightning Windows 7 phoneComing soon to a store near you is the first, and so far only, Windows 7 Phone designed by Dell. The Dell Lightning looks to be a high powered and super slick looking phone that is loaded with features. It is designed as a portrait slider with a 4.1-inch OLED display and full QWERTY keyboard under the display.

The Lightning is powered by a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor and is expected to have 1 GB of Flash and 512 MB of RAM. Some of the features that have leaked so far include a 5 MP camera, GPS, FM Radio, full flash video playback, GSM, and 8GB of on board storage.

The Dell Lightning release date is scheduled for the 4th quarter 2010. So far the images and specs are just leaked info, but never-the-less this phone promises to be a great one.

The Dell Smoke smartphoneThe Dell Smoke is another of the much anticipated upcoming phones from Dell that will be running the Android Froyo OS. It looks like the release will be somewhere in the middle of 2011, but it could be well worth the wait. Dell calls the look a “non-conforming style,” with a slim portrait design, a 2.8-inch QVGA display, and QWERTY keyboard.
